"Service with Pride"

"The Three Lakes Fire Department is a voluntary based fire department dedicated to serving the residents of the R.M. of Three Lakes (400); and the villages of St. Benedict, Middle Lake, and Pilger with timely and professional service in the emergency response field."

Watch the new Fire Hall Grow

This page is an area to watch the progress of the construction of the new Fire Hall for the Three Lakes Fire Department. The new Fire Hall will enclose 2000sq feet on the ground level with another 500sq feet on a second level (above the meeting room, mechanical room and bathroom) in the back, which will be mostly used for storage. The front of the hall will now be large enough to house the Fire Truck, the Water Tanker, and a third vehice; possibly a first response vehicle, or mobile command unit (or a combination of the two). The back of the hall will house a room for meetings and training, a mechanical room, and a bathroom equipped with shower, where the firefighters can wash up after fires and practises - rather than going home in their personal vehicles full of smoke, dirt, and soot.

This is a very progressive step, not only for the Three Lakes Fire Department, but mostly for the people residing and doing business within the boundries of the Three Lakes R.M. It will ensure a viable fire department for many years to come. Congratulations to everyone in the Three Lakes Area.

Please celebrate the official ground breaking with us on August 6th, 2003 at 10:30am at the new fire hall site on Railway Avenue in Middle Lake. There will be speeches from, Saskatoon Idylwyld David Forbes who will be appearing on behalf of Government Relations Minister Ron Osika who expressed “The new fire hall is an excellent example of the diverse ways that Saskatchewan people are partnering with government to build on the excellent quality of life in Saskatchewan.” and “The Government of Saskatchewan is pleased to support this project which will enhance the safety and well being of the people of the R.M of Three Lakes, and the Villages of Middle Lake, St. Benedict, and Pilger.”, a representative, Blake Peters - Mayor of St. Benedict, from the four municipalities involved (R.M of Three Lakes, and the Villages of Middle Lake, St. Benedict, and Pilger), and the Three Lakes Fire Chief, Wayne Ruep.
